Love the area the Hotel is in. There was a humming motor style noise just outside the room but stopped at 10pm so didnt distract from sleep.
Bed was comfortable and had a good selection of pillows.
We had a laundry set up in the bathroom which was a great bonus.
Could not hear the airport even though it was next door. Superb bonus.
I was charged twice for my stay, and what should have been a straightforward refund has taken an unbelievable five months to resolve. Throughout this entire process, communication from management has been poor, follow-up has been inconsistent, and I have repeatedly had to chase for updates. No customer should have to spend months trying to recover money that was taken in error.
The biggest disappointment has been the manager's handling of this situation. Rather than taking ownership and ensuring the issue was resolved promptly, there was a clear lack of urgency, accountability, and customer care. A mistake can happen, but how it's dealt with is what defines good service—and unfortunately, this was handled incredibly poorly.
Five months to refund a duplicate charge is simply unacceptable. I expected far better from a hotel that claims to value its guests. I would strongly encourage anyone staying here to check their statements carefully, as if something does go wrong, don't expect a quick or professional resolution.
Sadly, because of the way this was managed, I cannot recommend this hotel and will not be returning.
The property felt luxurious, and the location is perfect, very close to a supermarket and great takeaway options. As someone who doesn't like lifts, having a guest stairwell available made my stay. Plus, the easy walk to the airport made departure completely stress-free. Highly recommend!
There was not enough parking for all guests, so you could arrive at the hotel and find that there was no parking available. There was also no free long-term parking available around the hotel, which made things very inconvenient if you had a car.
The room was not serviced every day, and there was no properly functioning sandwich press available.
Another important point is that breakfast was NOT included. This is something you need to read very carefully in the advertisement, as it is not very clear at first.
Overall, considering how much I paid, I was very disappointed with the experience. In my opinion, you would be better off renting an Airbnb, where you can get more facilities and better value for your money.
