Been seeing Balls and Bangles show up on social feeds that recommend it as a place to visit

Needing a quick snack between stepping off the plane and dinner, thought this would be just the place to visit

Donuts were still fresh and yummy 😊 Definitely a place to drop in if you are looking for a quick snack and sugar rush. They did have some awesome looking bagel sandwiches too if you are looking for something more substantial

I went to this place twice. First with my colleagues, and the other one with my girlfriend. I fell in love with the salty bagels. I also discovered a lot of good sweet ones as original as it is original !!!

But the really unique thing there is Nina, her smile and her sweetness are contagious. Thanks a lot Nina, you’ve brightened up my day 🤗

1000th comment!! Woot woot!! I’ve been to over 20 countries and I love a good breakfast bagel sandwich. This is the best I’ve ever had, and with a poppyseed bagel not my fav others were sold out. Deliciously fresh, delightfully crisp yet soft bagels with clearly hand selected greens, thick cut bacon. Mocha was beautiful and delicious as well. 10/10 bring balls and bangles to the USA!!

We visited three times during our two-day stay in Queenstown—and that probably says it all. The hot bagels were outstanding: perfectly crisp on the outside, soft on the inside, and filled with juicy, flavourful meat complemented by a delicious aioli. A must-visit.

There’s a saying — I can’t remember it word for word — but it’s something like, “You don’t need to shout to be heard.” That really sums this place up.

It doesn’t have the same loud reputation as Ferg Burger (which, let’s be real, feels like a tourist rite of passage), but honestly? If you had to pick between the two, I’d nudge you in this direction.

The vibe is relaxed and easy — busy, but not overwhelming. It didn’t feel cramped or noisy, and the service was surprisingly quick for food that looked and tasted this good.

Everything we tried was so fresh. You can really tell they care about what they’re serving. The bagels were perfectly done — soft in all the right spots, with just the right amount of chew. And the sweets? Yes, they’re sweet, but not in a boring way. More like a little adventure on a plate.

Definitely worth a visit. It’s not trying to be loud — it’s just quietly excellent.
