We stayed for 4 nights and couldn't have been happier. The place is beautiful, the rooms are clean, cozy, and the kitchenette is super helpful. It's an amazing location to stay while skiing too, you avoid the bad traffic at peak times in Queenstown. The hot tub is such a good way to relax after a day of skiing. One more highlight (as if it needed another one) was the wine tasting. Firstly because the wines were delicious, but the host (Henriet I think? Hungarian lady) was so so good. Very knowldge, funny and made the whole tasting an incredible experience.

The complimentary wine tasting experience was very interesting even though I couldn’t drink the wine. They gave me apple juice, and it was fire, best i’ve ever had. Our somm, Bryan, was extremely knowledgeable and welcoming. The rooms were nice and clean, facing towards the vineyards and mountains. Staff was also very kind and hospitable. Food was great, and their chili oil is a must. Overall, a fantastic experience.

We did the pinot noir tasting. 5 wines plus a bonus, excellent information and explanation of the central Otago region. Learned a lot. Sampled great wine. And took a fair few away. Highly recommend if you want an engaging, informative and very tasty hour of wine tasting.

We had a birthday celebration at Kinross Winery including a wine tasting. The staff, the food and of course the wines were exceptional. Tess and the Events group were extremely helpful and patient as we went through the food and wine selections. Mary, the waitress, was so pleasant and efficient all of our party commented on how smooth the whole event was. There was more than ample amount of food which was delicious. Highly recommend the roasted cauliflower, well the sauce really, as that was one of the favourites of everyone. We are pleased to highly recommend Kinross for a party.

We had an amazing wine tasting and dining experience at Kinross. We arrived at 1:30 pm and started with the wine tasting, which featured a wonderful selection of wines from the region. The staff were knowledgeable and made the tasting both enjoyable and informative.

Afterwards, we enjoyed lunch in the outdoor seating area beside the fireplace, which created a warm and relaxing atmosphere. We were genuinely impressed by both the quality and presentation of the food. We tried the fungi pizza, salami pizza, chicken fries, and beef cheeks, and every dish was outstanding.

A fantastic combination of exceptional wines, delicious food, and a beautiful setting. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the region.
