Absoloot Hostel QT

We had a wonderful stay at ABSOLOOT Hostel. I was traveling with my elderly mother and my young niece, and the staff made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The location was excellent, making it easy to get around, and we appreciated how safe and convenient everything felt. The staff were kind, helpful, and always willing to assist, which made our stay even more enjoyable and also staff saved our money by guiding us to use bus for Arrowtown.
It was a great experience for all of us, and we would happily stay here again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for clean, comfortable accommodation with outstanding hospitality.

Great location. Friendly and helpful staff. Awesome vibe, met a few people here. They clean bathroom and vacuum ur room floor every day, which is great. Even tho some roommates have bad manners but overall good experience. Kitchen can be a bit small and crowded and sometimes dirty. But staff do try to clean them everyday. It’s the ppl who stay there need to do better. However, I do wish they could have more tissues located in the kitchen area instead of towels. As well as dormitory bathrooms. And the stairs where u climb up to ur bed is very hard and often hurt ur feet. Can be a bit unsafe as well. Also handwash should be provided in the kitchen too.

Me and my friends had an amazing stay at Absoloot Hostel Queenstown!
The hostel is in the perfect location, right in the heart of Queenstown and within walking distance to everything.
What really makes this place special is the incredible team. The staff are genuinely friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help with recommendations, bookings, or simply a chat. They create a fantastic atmosphere that makes it easy to meet other travellers and feel at home.
The common areas are comfortable, the views are stunning, and the overall vibe is relaxed, social, and respectful.
Thank you to the entire team for making my stay so enjoyable. I would highly recommend Absoloot to anyone visiting Queenstown and would definitely stay here again!

This was one of the cheapest central hostels in Queenstown & it’s in really great shape. It was clean with a friendly staff. Very walkable into town. They work hard to help you find free parking but it’s still pretty difficult due to Queenstown being Queenstown. Next time I probably wouldn’t get a car in this city. They were very understanding when I had to amend a reservation & really value booking direct :) Thank you so much Absoloot!

Stayed at Absoloot Hostel for over a week and had a great stay. I stayed in a room of 6 and the rooms were clean, the bed had a curtain for privacy and plenty of space to store your bag/ suitcase. In the case that the bathroom in the room is occupied there’re also communal bathrooms that are also very clean and well maintained. The kitchen was great, it had plenty of space to make meals and plenty of fridge/ freezer space to store food. Lastly the location is so ideal. The hostel is right in the centre of Queenstown with easy access to transport, walking trails etc. Lastly the staff are so friendly and willing to help you out with anything you may have issues with. Overall a very nice stay and would definitely recommend.
