Had a lovely dinner at Blue Kanu in Queenstown celebrating our friend’s 30th! 🎉 The food was delicious, and the team was so supportive in making the celebration special. Loved the birthday song and the pastry — such a lovely touch! ❤️

The service here is awesome. They’re super fast with seating, going through the menu and help you out with ordering. The vibe is so cool and fun and don’t even get me started on how good the food is. I love Asian fusion and so many places seem to struggle with executing fusion cuisine. Blue Kanu aced it, down to the ingredients, the actual dish and the combination of flavours that really hit Asia-pacific. Love it, loved the seafood boat and ceviche!

Fantastic food, great drinks, excellent service and wonderful atmosphere. Came here with family on our last night in Queenstown and this restaurant did not disappoint. The cuisine and dishes were unique and delicious! Please definitely get the calamari appetizer - it is the best item on the menu. Michelle was our server and she did a fabulous job making recommendations and being attentive. Do not miss out on this amazing food!

The serving sizes were quite decent and surprisingly large. 3 Star was for the food that was average.

We ordered 3 dishes and rice to accompany the curry. The chicken in the chicken curry was dry and it tasted like it was reheated in a microwave as it was hot on one side and luke warm in other sections. The rice was also lukewarm when served which is odd in an Asian restaurant.

I didn't like the batter on the tempura egg plant as it was a bit thick. Also it should be made cl at that it's actually not Japanese tempura batter but more fish and chips batter. Better to have just called it battered eggplant.

The pork ribs had good flavour and the service was good. My experience is that the food didn't live up to the hype.

The food was delicious and tasty. Some flavours were a little overwhelming. We ordered a frw things and the tuna and salmon from starters menu were definitely a must have. The korean fried chicken was good but a little too rich in flavour for our liking. The ribs was good as well however it needed to be eaten or balanced with something else on the side. The duck pancake was average, we were expecting it to be tastier. Otherwise, the whole experience was great and I would recommend this place for sure for a date night.
