Surprised to say although tasty, we didn’t have any standout dishes - all were just very nice. Service was OK, felt rushed in some moments and neglected in others.
On a separate point although this doesn’t add to the charm - unlike some other establishments, steaks here don’t include sides such as potatoes or salad or sauce - each of those are an added cost.
Lamb rack and t bone was thick and tender, paired with sauces it’s delicious.
Duck liver was alright, nicer when paired with the brioche bun.
Wine at the fire at the outdoor seating area was a nice experience.
On a nice day, I highly recommend sitting outside by the lake. the view is beautiful and makes the experience even better. Highly recommend.
