We had an amazing dining experience at FINZ Seafood & Grill! Every single dish we ordered was absolutely delicious—fresh, beautifully prepared, and packed with flavour. Honestly, everything tasted so good that we couldn't pick a favourite!
A special shout-out to Cindy, who looked after us throughout the meal. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed from the moment we arrived. Her excellent service and recommendations made our dining experience even more enjoyable.
Great food, fantastic service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Highly recommend FINZ Seafood & Grill, and if you're lucky enough to be served by Cindy, you're in great hands. We'll definitely be back!
What made our visit even more special was the care she took in helping us celebrate my daughter’s birthday on 28 July 2026. Her thoughtful attention and genuine kindness made the occasion truly memorable for our family.
Loqane (hope I spelt that right) was amazing. We booked in for a 8pm dinner on Wednesday 8th and I’m so glad we did as the place gets busy.
The knowledge of the food and wine was great and she was so professional.
Kids loved the thick French accent.
Saw the Steam boat pull in as well.
Had the steak, Crayfish, seafood share platter ( yum ) and the Fish & Chips
The wine was very nice. Really needed to be decanted since it was young and when we got the better glasses it made a difference.
We started with scallops as our entrée. While waiting for the main courses(and taking photos), the scallops cooled down a little bit, so we asked if they could be gently reheated for about 10 seconds. To our surprise, the kitchen kindly prepared a completely new dish for us instead（such a thoughtful and generous gesture that genuinely touched us.）
Every dish was outstanding. Cooked to perfection, showing great skill and attention to detail from the chef. The presentation was also visually delightful.
Our waitress, Nadine, was absolutely lovely. She was patient, warm, and genuinely kind (not the kind of politeness that feels forced). As a highly sensitive person, I could actually tell sincerity from people's eyes and micro expressions, and Nadine truly made us feel comfortable and cared for. We felt completely at ease asking her anything.
Although my mother's cellphone got stolen earlier in Queenstown CBD, which left us feeling quite low, this Chinese New Year dinner became a beautifully gentle highlight of our New Zealand journey. Thank you for such a memorable evening.
