Shotover Canyon Swing presents the world's original canyon swing, perched an exhilarating 109 metres above the Shotover River within Queenstown's iconic canyons. An exceptional range of over 70 different jump styles is available, allowing participants to personalise their descent into the canyon, either solo or in tandem. I went on my own and got so lucky with an awesome group of fellow jumpers who were incredibly friendly and encouraging the whole time.
The staff tho are next level. They genuinely made the experience a 10/10 and took such good care of me through my pre jump panic. They explained everything so well, made me feel completely safe, and still kept the fun banter going the entire time.
Couldn’t recommend this experience more!
We had an absolutely amazing time at Shotover Canyon Swing… although standing on the edge of a very large cliff does make you question some of your recent life choices… 😂
The crew were absolutely brilliant… friendly, hilarious and just the right amount of encouraging while clearly enjoying watching terrified people willingly step off the edge of a cliff… 😂
The swing itself was INSANE… terrifying for about half a second, then absolutely incredible!
Definitely one of the highlights of our Queenstown trip and something we’ll never forget…
