We had such a fun and unique experience at Minus 5° Ice Bar! Everything inside, from the walls and sculptures to the glasses was made of ice, making it a one-of-a-kind attraction. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and they provided warm jackets, gloves, and boots so we stayed comfortable despite the freezing temperatures.

The cocktails were delicious, and there were plenty of great photo opportunities throughout the bar. It was definitely worth the visit and made for a memorable experience in Queenstown. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to try something different!

What an amazing experience. The staff were super friendly and extremely accommodating. The safety briefing was even made enjoyable.
Our bar tender, Emma was absolutely awesome. At times we were the only 2 in the bar as others came and went within 10 minutes. Emma took the time to come talk with us for most of the hour we spent in the bar which made if feel like a more personal experience especially since is was my partners 50th birthday.

I can highly recommend Minus 5 Ice Bar.

Thank you again Emma for a great experience. Your cocktails were delicious too.

We attended here on 16th May 2026 for my birthday and it was awesome. Our host I think her name was Amelia ( American lady) was absolutely fantastic. She went above and beyond with her customer service and made the whole experience. The ice sculptures were impressive! While as small space, it was still amazing. Highly recommend.

Love it!! Emma was so much fun she was a great host, it can be crowded but you can find a spot easy to have a boogie, once other people leave you have plenty space, seats are limited but nobody really sat down for long anyway so they become free easily but you should dance anyway!! People say it’s a gimmick to book but with the right group of people it doesn’t matter life is short do it if you want! Also this is the best ice bar for value of money even tho it’s smallest so take your pick I suppose

Attended last Wednesday night and had a really good experience. It was fairly quiet, which actually made it better as we were able to walk straight in without waiting and enjoy the space comfortably.

The cocktails were really nice and made amazingly well. The staff were friendly and the atmosphere inside was unique and fun.

We stayed for around 40 minutes, which felt like the perfect amount of time in the cold. Definitely worth doing at least once if you’re in Auckland and looking for cool 🥶
